Why do I need to give you my MySpace username and password?
We use your MySpace username and password in order to import your profile information into our editor. This way, you're able to edit a preview of your actual profile and not just an example one. We also use your login information to publish your profile back to MySpace with 1-click. No more copying and pasting code. You don't have to worry though, because we do not store your password in our system.
Why don't my flash widgets (slideshows, YouTube, music player) show up?
If your flash widgets have disappeared, it's because you are using a Mac computer and have the transparency (see-through) option enabled on your layout. This is a known bug with Firefox on Mac, so until it's fixed, you should not set a transparency level.
My layout got messed up after I published! Why?
When your layout appears off-center or misaligned, this is usually due to a really wide comment. Comments get really wide when there is a long string of characters (such as: http://youtube.com/watch?v=3FQ21cMs8bg&feature=dir ) that don't have a space between them. If you can find the problem comment, delete it and your layout should return to normal.
If you are having trouble figuring out the issue, contact us so we can take a closer look.
Can I remove the SnapLayout branding?
We have worked hard to create an easy and powerful MySpace editor that is also completely free. We place the SnapLayout logo in your profile's upper left corner so people can figure out how you made it and our service can grow.
If you require that the logo is removed, email us: info@snaplayout.com
How can I make my background fit better?
The best background images are 1024px by 768px or larger. Once you have a background image chosen, you can adjust where (ex. top left, bottom right) and how (ex. fixed, repeating) it displays in the "page layout" tab of options.
